Out With The Old, In With The New!

Our very few pieces of furniture are being sold and we're thrilled to see it go. It gives us closure to say goodbye to things of the past.

In our packing up, we found a bunch of gift cards that we received for Christmas and we're very happy to use them today on items that we need.

We are joyously celebrating what our new furniture has become! His and hers suitcases! Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone who gave us the gift cards to support our purchases today! Imagine that's our largest possession! All of my summer clothes fit into 2 small bins. I am so proud of myself for scaling things down.

After 3 years of getting rid of paper from our lives, we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel in that area too.

When Jesus said "I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly" in John 10:10, I wonder if this kind of life is what He meant. Not one filled with things, worldly possessions, but rich in experiences and fewer possessions.
