May 2020 was such a turning point in our lives. We made the big decision to sell our home and put it up for sale NOW and the bigger decision to live out of 2 suitcases each. The intense packing, purging and selling of things began at a rapid pace.
Imagine this: out of all of the things in the house to make a decision on keeping, I found myself examining 3 rocks that I had, finding it a challenge to leave the rocks behind! The things we become attached to. In a week and a half, our home was staged and up for sale.
In the community, restaurants were closed, we all were having bad hair together and we were watching the Covid curve trend.
At the very end of May, on the day our home went up for sale, Ernest asked me to support him in putting a late friend's house for sale. I wanted to cry because I was so exhausted on every level. We did it with a trade off, a night in a hotel where I could rest properly.
