Day 6 of The 12 Days of Christmas

June was our 5th wedding anniversary. We had to leave our home at the end of the month so the crazy pitching, purging and packing was full on. We decided to move to a studio in our building and as we were packing to leave our home, we visited the studio regularly to clean it up and prepare for our move.

I remember being tired and choosing to keep moving on. Inspirational messages appeared along the way to keep me going, like my 2020 word "Joy", and "Move Forward". My friend Rachel knew what I was going through and delivered a care package to me.

We watched our furniture go to new homes, took our last walks by the lake, began to sleep on an air mattress. I was not sure how I would feel about living in the studio but kept an open mind to having a new experience, knowing it was temporary.

We had the attitude of living our lives fully and kept going despite what was going on with COVID-19. To take our mind off things, we continued to do puzzles, pretty much up to just a few days before we moved.

This video is made by my friend Candy Carpenter from The Band Wanted. I'm featuring The Band Wanted's music for the remainder of the 12 Days of Christmas 🎄⛄🎄.
