Among all of the changes I am going through is a constant call in my Spirit to turn around and give thanks in all things and in all circumstances. The call continues while I am working, to give thanks as I push through things to get it done and put things in place for support and a better life. I'm walking the streets and giving thanks.
Today would have been Richard's 77th birthday, my spiritual dad. I had that very strong unction to reach out to Rose, his wife. I left her a voice mail message and I'm listening to the Lord. Again, I sense in my Spirit that I am supposed to write her a letter, so I did and attached a gift with it as I have not seen her in some time. I was about to close things off and put the letter in an envelope when I heard very loudly and clearly in my ear "Happy Birthday Rose". It was Richard's voice. So loudly and clearly as if he was standing right next to me. My spirit jumped and I knew in that moment that the gift that I am sending Rose is actually a gift on Richard's birthday meant for Rose from the Lord. I was stunned, but I just sat there giving thanks to God, grateful that He is using me.
In six weeks we'll leave this studio and I can't even express to you the gratitude I feel to God for leading me here and helping me with every single thing that has to be done before we leave.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 - give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
