I love hearing stories about how people met and got married. I shared our story with someone and was intrigued when the person told me I should share the steps we took to get married. Ernest and I did things differently. Having had former marriages, we wanted to do whatever it would take to make sure we were making the right decision. In hindsight, what we did served us excellently and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of getting married.
I also questioned "What is a marriage anyway? What does it mean to be a wife?" I realized that no one taught me these things and in the stories I heard about marriage, this was not addressed. I found out some very useful and thoughtful things that set me up for success.
I hope you will join me this Saturday February 5th at 9 am EST for Let's Talk About Marriage. I will share what we did that led us to this successful marriage we enjoy today. If we have time, I will also share what happened on our wedding day. It was hilarious! It was one of those weddings where everything that could go wrong went wrong. All of the hiccups made it a memorable day!
