Wealth Creation

In 2015 when I quit my job I knew that something had to change for me to be able to far surpass sitting at my desk and doing my job. Work-life balance was non-existent to me and I knew that relying on savings, owning a house and pension funds would not be sufficient due to inflation and the tax system that I was in. To speak about having another job on the side is one thing, but to actually engage in it and grow it can radically change your life.

There are many people who say they want to do something, but never make a single step forward to do it. I found that stepping out of where I was opened up opportunities for me to be a student to whatever else life had to offer. That included creating wealth through different means. One book that I enjoyed because it explained what the millionaire mindset is like and the commonalities in the millionaire's portfolio was "The Millionaire Mind" by Thomas J. Stanley. The book is thick but very easy to read. I began to see what was missing in my life and work towards it. Getting educated in saying what you want is always a good move rather than doing it on the fly. Even baby steps in the direction that you desire is better than no action and sitting on a wish list that may be a regret.
